Hello all,
We are very sad to report that Lee is no longer struggling. At 1115 this morning, he went Code Blue again, and they were not able to revive him. Once the details of his last 24 hours are sorted out, we will post them here. It will make a lot more sense then.
As it turns out, his heart turned out to be the biggest issue, and once his body decided it was done, things went very quickly.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although Lee is no longer suffering, you begin a new journey. My prayers are with you both, Greg and Nanette.

DeleteI am so very sorry for your loss. I had been diligently following this blog happy to see Lee's progress, slow that it may have been and hopeful to see his recovery. :( I will keep you and all of Lee's family and friends in my thoughts. The heart is heavy tonight.
ReplyDeleteIf I could carry some of this burden for you I would... My heart is heavy knowing how great of a loss this is for you both. You provided prayer and loving support for Lee until it was time for him to depart this earth. There is no greater gift during the final hours. I pray that now you will find rest and moments of peace for yourselves. If I can do anything, please reach out to me. Hugs, big hugs... Suzanne
