Updates on Lee - Friday, April 8 - 1730
Ok - PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter), line is in and all went well. As soon as they have results from the xray and all is fine, they will begin using the PICC line. They gave us a booklet on how it works. This line, inserted in the arm, allows medicine and other fluids to be administered through one point over a longer period of time; generally this line will remain until he is discharged. At this point, his vitals are fine.

Hello, I'm Jeff C's daughter, Kerry. Just wanted you to know I am thinking about Lee, you, and the rest of your family. Lee's a great guy. When I worked at Edwards it was always so nice to go out to lunch with my Dad, Lee (my fav of my dad's friends - don't tell the others), Ed, and Dave. He helped me fix my car's speaker when I was a teenager and beautifully restored my old bassoon (which is awesome knowing it went to such a good home). I'm in Massachusetts and am following along on this blog and praying for Lee's recovery. Thank you so much for keeping us updated.
