Updates on Lee - Saturday, April 16 - 1600

Good afternoon all,

This morning, Lee's nephew Derek graduated with his Master's Degree from the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business. Congratulations to Derek from all of us! WOO HOO! (We will not mention to Derek what Lee has to say about folks who end up with a Master's Degree...)

Last night was very uneventful.

Dialysis was started around 0800 this morning and went fine.

1400 - RT lowered his O2 input to 40%. Peeps were at 8%, and sats were 96. All the other numbers remained the same.

1440 - RT once again lowered his O2 input to 35%, and minutes later, the nurse did some suctioning. Sats are steady at 9%, BP, 149/51, HR = 71.

They are waiting for his body to process all of the recent drugs before moving ahead with the next weaning step. The first step begins with the O2 input at 35%, so before any more steps are taken, they will once again take a look at things when tomorrow's dialysis is done.

We will work hard at keeping things more up to date, but at this point, slow and steady is the theme.

Eternal Vigilance

שבח יהוה
