Last night was pretty smooth. The only other interesting thing that occurred was when the nurses were turning him, one asked Lee if he could hear them talking, ... he nodded his head.
Because the drugs are beginning to wear off, and he is trying to breath a bit (with assistance) on his own, his heart rate and BP were going up a bit. Most likely from the frustration and pain,
They increased one drug a tick to take the edge off, and he is resting with the following numbers:
O2 input = 35%
Peeps = 8%
BP = 168/56
HR = 88
O2Sat = 95%
The are trying to confirm the tube trickle feeding is beginning to work (listening for stomach gurgling, etc).
The morning round of dialysis is being prepared.
