Well, well....
The nurses have come in twice during the last few hours to turn and adjust Lee's position. During the last session moments ago, I asked the nurse why she was talking to him in a louder voice during the last couple of adjustments, saying things like, "Hello Lee, how are you today, we are going to move you around now, ...." Her reply, "He is opening his eyes, so I wanted to make sure I said hello."

I am back in Ventura until tomorrow. This news makes me so very happy. Thank you all for your ongoing, love, prayers and encouragement. Thank you Gregg for being such a wonderful brother, father and husband.

Great news! I am looking forward to the "wake up" so I can tell him to stop scaring the heck out of everybody. Carey is getting better with her back and I may be able to kick free for a couple days. I would love to come and see him.
ReplyDeleteGreat and caring work from everybody that helped take care of him with the music, presence and vigilance. I'm sure the support and love shown from family and friends was a mitigating factor in his recovery thus far.
